‘Spectrum Sport Timing’

The Fountains Cycle Race was formerly known as the Cycle for the Bunnies. The Fountains Cycle Race 2011 was founded in 2001 an takes place each year on Youth Day, 16th June. The race gained its name from all the “fountains” the route follows, namely Vlakfontein, Putfontein, Knoppiesfontein, Zesfontein, Varkfontein, Tweefontein, Bronkhorstfontein, Bapsfontein, Elandsfontein and Hartebeesfontein. The race started in 2001 with only 127 cyclists, and has steadily increased each year to 651 cyclists in 2009.

Race information: Thursday 16 June 2011. Start at 08h00, 96km & 56km. A CSA/CGC sanctioned event. Timed by Spectrum Sport Timing

NO LATE ENTRIES FOR FULL LICENSED RIDERS. Online entries: www.cyclelab.com. Online entries close Wednesday 9th June 2010. Registration/ numbers collection: at Tour de Frans Cycling on Saturday, 12 June from 9:00 – 14:00 and Tuesday, 15 June from 9:00 – 18:00; at Cycle Lab on Monday, 14 June from 9:00 – 17:00, and at the venue on Wednesday 16 June 2010 from 06H00 (not full licenced riders). Results will be available at www.spectrumsport.co.za. Prize giving will commence at 11:30
