Powerade Mountain 2 Mountain Challenge 2012 will be held at the Tzaneen Showgrounds, Limpopo Province, and starts at 7:00 with a Pre-School and a Primary School race on the showgrounds, as well as the three road races. The Powerade Mountain 2 Mountain Challenge 2012 is the only Argus cycle tour seeding event in the Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces.

Bela Bela Sondela Challenge 2012 is a road cycling event that takes place at one of the most popular holiday resorts in the Limpopo province, Sondela Nature Reserve, near Bela Bela. Accommodation at Sondela include self-catering chalets, a caravan park and tent camp, and an up-market butler serviced Country House.

The Waterberg Grape Festival Cycle Challenge 2012 will be held on Saturday, 7 January in Modimolle, Limpopo Province, and riders will be required to produce a valid CSA license or proof of provincial affiliation at registration, or purchase an event license.

The Waterberg Druiwefees is a very popular annual event, with the Road Cycle Challenge a highlight on the agenda, with distances of 95km and 42km for the riders, as well as a Kiddies challenge.
