The Sabie Experience will consist of a team prologue stage on day one and three marathon stages on days 2 to 4. All four days of mountain bike racing will count toward the overall race results. The rules for the Sabie Experience 2010 mountain bike racing event changed slightly. The final version will be communicated at the race briefing on 12 December 2010.
- All riders must be at least 19 years or older on 31 December 2010.
- Only mountain bikes in good, safe working order allowed
- Only recognized hardshell cycling helmets complying with recognized standards will be acceptable.
- A full initial race briefing will take place at the Bambanani Sports Centre, York Timbers Sports Grounds at 18h30 on Wednesday, 15th December 2010.
Sabie Experience Lite
The Sabie Experience Lite is a new four day ride on a short course. The marked routes will be between 20 and 40km long and anyone over the age limit set by SA Mountain Biking Association is 15.
- Medals will be awarded to all finishers.
- Entries will open on the 17th of May 2010.
- The cost per team of two is R1200.
- You can ride with anyone so long as they are old enough. We may even entertain the thought of a 3-person team!
