The Cape Argus Lifecycle Week Events are hosted by the city of Cape Town, and include the Grape Escape, MTB Challenge, Tricycle Tour, Junior Tour, Lifecycle Expo, Cycle Tour. It is the cycling event of the year for the Western Cape, and a highlight on the South African sporting calender.

- Columbia Grape Escape – 1 to 3 March 2012, minimum age 18 years.
- Cape Argus Pick n Pay MTB Challenge 2012 – 3 March; Hosted by Boschendal; 13km & 25km.
- Cape Argus Pick n Pay Tricycle Tour – presented by Powerade; Saturday, 10 March 2011; at Youngsfield Military Base, Wynberg; Route of 1,5km, for Ages 2 – 6 years; Online Entries; Register 2 – 9 March 2012 at Canal Walk Shopping Centre.
- Cape Argus Pick n Pay Junior Tour – presented by Spur Steak Ranches; Saturday, 10 March 2012; Youngsfield Military Base, Wynberg; 5km & 10km route options; Ages 6 – 12 years; Online Entries; Register 2 – 9 March 2012 at Canal Walk Shopping Centre.
- Lifecycle Expo – 08 to 10 March 2012, Good Hope Centre, Cape Town.
- Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour – 11 March 2012, Distance 110km.
